This Privacy Protocol describes how K4B Pro Ecosystem (“K4B Pro”, “we”, “our”) handles personal data collected through our web applications, recruitment engines, learning connectors, and mobile solutions.

We collect personal data that you provide directly, data generated through service usage, and verified credentials retrieved with your consent:
- Account Identity Data: Full name, email address, password hash, avatar image, phone number, and optional avatar alias name.
- Professional & Background Credentials: Resume summary, work history, skill taxonomy, academic records, and verified Moodle LMS course scores/badges.
- Verification Documents: Scans of Fayida National ID, Passport, Commercial Trade Licenses, or TIN certificates submitted for professional badge verification.
- Transaction & Billing Data: Order records, payment reference codes, subscription tiers, and billing metadata processed via Chapa and Telebirr.
- Usage Telemetry & Device Data: IP address, browser user-agent, session logs, and PostHog interaction analytics.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used strictly for legitimate operational purposes:
- To power the AI Matchmaking Engine connecting candidate skill profiles with job vacancies.
- To verify course completion scores and issue verified Gold/Silver trust badges.
- To facilitate signed Terms of Reference (TOR) agreements between clients and contractors.

4. Professional Contact Masking & Safeguards
K4B Pro employs dedicated privacy mechanisms to guard candidate contact information from unsolicited scraping:
Public directories render phone numbers as masked strings (e.g., +251 91 123 4***).
When recruiters unlock contact info, access expires automatically after a set window (e.g. 7–30 days).
5. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services
We do not sell your personal data to third-party brokers. We share information only with authorized sub-processors necessary to provide platform services:
- Payment Processors: Chapa and Telebirr for transaction settlement.
- Educational Connectors: Moodle LMS for score verification.
- Analytics Providers: PostHog (configured with strict input masking enabled).
